Axiotron Revamps ModBook - Now Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

Axiotron has taken a good look at their tablet ModBook and improved it in a number of ways.
The Modbook, a tablet transformation of an Apple MacBook, has been around for a little while now, but if you were holding out for some reason then you're in luck. A whole series of changes have taken place which make the Modbook even beter than before.
Harder - The ModBook's LCD panel is now covered by the QuadCoat process, which shields the top shell with a liquid metallic coating.
Better - The LCD panel is also made with a new bonding process and a ForceGlass screen cover that improves contrast ratio. The hardware controller board update will result in improved battery life. There is now full Bluetooth, improved GPS and a number of other features which have been improved.
Faster - The hardware controller board update will also result in overall improved performance. As a result of various chances, the unit is also lighter, weighing in at 5.3lbs.
Stronger - Radio frequency shilding improves the responsiveness of the digitizer, making it less vulnerable to interference.
Not bad at all. You can mod your MacBook into a ModBook for $1299 just like before, or you can simply purchase a ModBook straight up for $2249 instead.
